Are there makeup classes for missed classes?TNT offers 1 makeup class for every 8 weeks. There are no credits or refunds for missed classes.

What is the dress code?Students can wear a leotard or any form of appropriate athletic wear. Please no midriff tops. No jewelry. Students participate in bare feet with the option of sneakers for tumbling classes. Students may not participate in socks or stockings.

Do I stay and watch my child's class or do I leave?We ask our preschool parents (Bar Benders/Pit Jumpers) to stay in the lobby for the duration of their child's class. For our other programs and classes, you are able to drop-off your child at the front door and pick them up after class behind the building. We understand that it can be fun to watch your child enjoy their class and show off their gymnastics, but we are still encouraging drop-off/pick-up experience for our athletes. Space and seating will be extremely limited in the lobby and sometimes viewing can be a distraction to our students!

Do you offer Gymnastics Birthday Parties?YES. We offer birthday parties on Saturday's and Sunday's, pending availability. Please visit out 'Birthday Parties' page in the menu for more information.

What should my child bring to class?A water bottle for drink break(s). We have an onsite water fountain to refill bottles.

What happens during the summer?TNT is a year-round facility, offering classes to meet your schedule every month of the year, in addition to camps in the summer. For the months of July and August we do remove Friday and Saturday classes from the schedule. They are replaced in September. We will offer a modified Open Gym schedule for July and August. More info to come.

Are there changing rooms?NO. We ask that your child arrives at the gym dressed and ready to go. Changing is permitted in the bathroom if necessary. We have cubby space for your child to place their shoes, clothing and water bottle in our lobby area but we do ask that you try to minimize what is brought into the gym.

What is your drop-off/pick-up procedure?We are still encouraging a drop-off/pick-up experience for our athletes. Space and seating will be extremely limited in the lobby and sometimes viewing can be a distraction to our students! If you choose to drop-off/pick-up, you will drop-off at the front door and pick up at the back door in the rear of the building. Our students cannot leave through the front door/lobby without a parent or guardian present. If you are not waiting for your child in the rear lot of the building after their class has ended, please come to the lobby to collect them.

Do you offer private lessons?Private lessons are offered depending on coaches availability. Please reach out for more information.

What if I am late for pick up?We will have your child wait in the lobby or gym. A staff member will reach out to the number on file if no one is there for pick up within 10 minutes of the conclusion of class.

Can my child come to class if they are sick?We do ask that you use your best judgment when sending your child to class. We would like to best keep our staff and other students healthy!

When can I enroll my child in a class?TNT has year round open enrollment meaning you can register at any time. Head over to our member login page in the menu to register and request your preferred class today - spaces fill quickly!

Do you have a competitive gymnastics team?TNT offers a developmental gymnastics team (in-house/pre-team), USAG team, JOGA gymnastics team and our All Star Cheerleading team. All Gymnastics teams are invitation only. Our All-Star Cheer team requires no experience!

Can we rent the gym space?YES. TNT does rent out gymnastics floor space. Please reach out for more information.

How many children will be in a class?At TNT, our goal is to give your child the best experience possible in gymnastics. Because of this we like to keep our student to coach ratio slightly lower than average: Preschool Classes: 5 students to 1 coach School-aged classes/groups: 7 students to 1 coach

How will I know if my child is ready to move to a different class?Our coaches track your child’s progress and will approach you if they are ready to move to a more advanced class. Even if your child has learned and mastered the skills necessary to move up, we also want to make sure they possess the correct level of discipline and maturity to succeed in a more advanced class. We encourage talking to your child’s coaches if you have any questions about how they are doing!

Are the coaches certified?YES. All of our coaches are registered and certified through USA Gymnastics. Our coaching staff is required to complete the USA Gymnastics Safety Certification Program. Our coaches are also SafeSport certified and CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association.

Do you sell leotards?YES. We have a fun variety of TNT leotards available to purchase in our lobby area. You can pay with cash, card or check!

Do I have to wait until the start of the month before I enroll?If you join after the start of the month, you are prorated for however many classes you attend in that starting month, trial class included.

What will my child do during their trial class?A trial class is instructed as any other class would be. This will give your child the chance to meet the coach, the other children in the group and experience how classes at TNT are structured.

How much does a trial class cost?Your no-risk trial class will be included in your first tuition payment, if you choose to return. If not, there is no obligation and nothing owed!

Can I trial more than one class?One trial class is offered per program. If you would like to trial a gymnastics class and a tumble class to see which is preferred, that is okay!

How do I request a trial class?After creating an account online through our Member Portal and accepting our Rules and Policies, you are able to select a class that works best for your schedule. Once a class is requested you will receive a confirmation email.

Can my child try out a class before enrolling?TNT offers all new students a No-Risk trial class. The child’s trial should be in a class that is age and level appropriate. Make sure to take a look around our website for descriptions of our programs and classes or reach out with any questions!

When are trial classes offered?Trial classes are offered at any time, so long as there is space available in the class you are requesting.

Am I automatically enrolled after the trial class? How does it work?If you decide that your child will be returning to class, you can send an email to TNTGymnasticsNJ@gmail.com to confirm, or just return to the same class the following week! You do not need to request the class again or do anything else online except for adding a card to your account for tuition purposes.

We want to take a break from class and return in a few months. What are our options?TNT requires a 30 day drop notice emailed to TNTGymnasticsNJ@gmail.com. Your child will be dropped from the class at your request. When you are ready to return, you can head online and request whichever class you’d like!

How do I pay tuition? How is tuition billed?All tuition is paid through an auto-pay system online. A card must be added to your account if your child returns after a trial class.

Do you offer any discounts or incentives?TNT offers a 25% sibling discount, 10% military discount and 25% multi-class discount (preschool and school-age recreational only). In tumbling, we offer a second class for just $60 extra/month. We also offer tumble classes as an add-on to any gymnastics class or team for only $60 extra per month.

When is tuition due?Tuition is invoiced to your account at the end of every month for the following month. Tuition balances are processed through an auto-pay system on the first business day of every month.

What is the cost of tuition?Our tuition varies depending on the program your child is enrolled in. Please visit our member portal for tuition information or reach out directly using our contact form on our contact page!

How do I withdraw from a class?To withdraw from a class, TNT requires a 30 day emailed notice sent to TNTGymnasticsNJ@gmail.com. Once cards are processed we do not offer refunds.

Do you have a referral program?Right now we offer a $25 referral credit per referral. Referral is received after that student has made their first tuition payment. We do offer special referral incentives throughout the year, as well.

Are payments reimbursed if I withdraw my child from their class?TNT does not offer refunds of any kind, once cards are processed.

How many classes does my tuition cover?Tuition covers 4 classes in a month. There are 52 weeks in a year and TNT is open for 48 of those weeks. We divide our tuition months by those 48 weeks. Sometimes the 4th class of a “month” is in the first week of the next month.

What are the rules at Open Gym?All non-members that do not have a current account with TNT must accept our rules and policies online, or fill out a paper copy upon arrival. At TNT, we always ensure there is an appropriate ratio of coaches to Open Gym participants. Most apparatus in the gym is available for use, but some may be restricted based on a child's current skill level. Our staff is on hand for supervision, varied assistance and to make sure the equipment is being used safely. The students will not be instructed as they would in a class setting so it is important that your child listens to our coaches and follows any instructions given. Our coaches are permitted to intervene at any time when safety is in question inside our facility.

Who can come to Open Gym?Open Gym is open to anyone aged 5+ wishing to have a fun time in the gym. Both current members and non-members are welcome which means friends can come along too! Please see our Open Gym page for more information.

What is Open Gym?At TNT, Open Gym is unstructured time or 'free play' in the gym under supervision of a number of our coaches. It allows children to explore different areas of the gym, socialize with friends and practice skills they have been learning on their own. It is a great opportunity for children to have a fun time in the gym, while building strength and confidence at their own pace.

What should be worn to Open Gym?Athletic clothing such as shorts/leggings and a t-shirt or tank top. Leotards are not required! We ask you to remove jewelry such as rings, necklaces and earrings other than simple studs. Bare feet are required. Clean/indoor shoes such as cheer shoes are allowed on the floor.
